Chicken breast is ideal for Asian dishes - it fries quickly, and its taste changes depending on additional ingredients, seasonings and spices, so the dishes always turn out to be different and unlike each other. A simple Chinese-style recipe - chicken breast with almonds, ginger and vegetables in a thick sauce.
How to make chicken breast: ingredients for 2 persons
- chicken breast;
- onion;
- half green pepper;
- half a red pepper;
- carrot;
- 100 g of almonds;
- soy sauce - 50 ml;
- ginger root - 1.5-2 centimeters;
- half a glass of chicken broth or water;
- half a glass of water to dissolve the starch;
- a tablespoon of cornstarch.

First you need to marinate the chicken. To do this, cut the chicken breast into not very large pieces, put in a bowl and pour over soy sauce. Grate the ginger on a fine grater, add to the chicken, mix and remove, marinate for 1 hour.
Wash, peel and cut the vegetables into equal small cubes.
Pour a little olive oil into a frying pan and fry the almonds in it until golden brown. It is important to ensure that the almonds do not burn.
Transfer the almonds to a plate, fry the vegetables in a skillet over medium heat, add a little more olive oil if necessary. After 5 minutes, the vegetables can be transferred to the bowl with the almonds.
If there is too much soy sauce in a cup of chicken, you need to drain the excess, leaving literally a couple of tablespoons. Then fry the chicken breast in a pan for 2-3 minutes on both sides. Add vegetables and almonds, stir.
Pour in half a glass of broth (water), mix, leave on maximum heat for 5 minutes.
Dissolve cornstarch in half a glass of cold water, stir so that there is not a single lump. Pour slowly into the skillet. Stir, leave on fire for another 5 minutes to thicken the sauce.
The Chinese style breast is ready. You can immediately serve it on the table!
