A delightful dessert, the preparation process of which will take a certain amount of time, but the end result will surprise and delight you!
It is necessary
- - 1 pack of puff pastry
- - 1 cup of sugar
- - 1 bag of vanilla sugar
- - 5 eggs (whites and yolks)
- - 175 g chocolate (50-60% cocoa)
- - 100 g walnut kernels (finely crushed)
- - 300 ml of milk
- - 5 tablespoons flour
- - 150 g butter
- - 150 g sugar
- - 2 bags of vanilla sugar
- - 1 tablespoon caster sugar
Instructions
Step 1
Roll out the puff pastry sheets on a lightly floured surface to a size of 23 x 33 cm (baking dish). Bake 1st sheet for 10 minutes at 185 ° C or until golden brown.
Step 2
Let cool for a few minutes and then carefully cut into rectangles, making 4 cuts vertically and horizontally (you should make about 25 pieces). Bake until half cooked 2nd sheet for 5 minutes at 175 C.
Step 3
Separate the egg whites from the yolks for the chocolate filling. Whisk the egg whites with a pinch of salt until stiff. Put 5 yolks, 1 glass of sugar, vanilla in a mixer bowl and beat until pale yellow.
Step 4
Melt the chocolate in a water bath, then add it to the yolk mixture and stir by hand. Add ground walnuts and beaten egg whites at the end.
Step 5
Place a half-baked puff pastry sheet in a baking dish and pour the chocolate mixture over the top. Bake at 190 ° C for about 20-30 minutes. Then let cool completely.
Step 6
For the milk filling, mix 5 tablespoons of flour and 1/4 of the milk until smooth. Boil 1 cup milk and add the flour and milk mixture with constant stirring. Stir until the mixture thickens, then remove from heat and let cool.
Step 7
Combine sugar, vanilla and butter until smooth and fluffy. Add to the cooled mass and mix well again. Spread the milk filling over the chocolate filling.
Step 8
Then place the rectangles that you cut out earlier on top.
Step 9
Sprinkle with powdered sugar. Cover with aluminum foil and refrigerate for at least 3 hours before serving.
Step 10
Slice into rectangles before serving.
