A real classic - sweet Danish puffs with fruit filling. They are shaped like wheels, mills or envelopes; finished products can be greased with fragrant glaze. The only disadvantage of such baking is its high calorie content. Those who follow the figure will have to limit themselves to a couple of delicious puffs, washed down with freshly brewed tea or coffee.

Ingredients:

  • 225 g wheat flour;
  • 25 g margarine;
  • 7 g fast-acting dry yeast;
  • 150 g butter;
  • 25 g sugar;
  • 1 egg;
  • a pinch of salt;
  • thick apricot jam.

Sift flour into a bowl, grind with margarine, salt and dry yeast. Beat the egg from 4 th. l. water and sugar. Add the egg mass to the flour, knead the dough. Place a piece of butter between 2 sheets of plastic wrap, use a rolling pin to turn it into a flat rectangular bar.

Roll out the dough, put a bar of butter in the center. Tuck the edges of the dough, forming a roll. Roll it into a layer, the length should be twice the width. Fold the dough in three, walk over it with a rolling pin again. Repeat the folding and rolling process 3 times, the oil should soften and bond with the bulk. If it comes out, place the workpiece in the refrigerator after each folding.

Roll out the dough into a layer and cut into rectangles. Make parallel cuts on one side. Place a portion of apricot jam on top of the other, cover the filling with dough and pinch the edges. For the puff to acquire a golden brown crust, grease the surface with a beaten egg. Bake in an oven preheated to 200 degrees, decorate the finished puffs with icing or sprinkle with powdered sugar.

Delicate airy cream will perfectly complement dry flaky dough. Puffs contain a lot of calories, so eating them daily is not worth it. But such pastries can be prepared for a family celebration - guests will surely appreciate the sweet pastries.

Ingredients:

  • 400 g ready-made puff pastry;
  • 2 egg yolks;
  • 100 g sugar;
  • 3 tbsp. l. orange juice;
  • 1 tsp vanilla sugar;
  • 300 ml of milk;
  • 50 g starch;
  • icing sugar for dusting.

Defrost the dough, lightly roll out on a floured board, cut into squares with sides of 10 cm with a sharp knife. Pour the milk into a saucepan, boil, add plain and vanilla sugar, stirring until the crystals are completely dissolved. Beat the yolks with half a portion of sugar and starch, pour in orange juice and a little warm milk. Beat the yolk mass with a whisk until completely homogeneous, pour it into the milk and mix thoroughly.

Heat the milk-yolk mass over low heat, without stopping stirring. When the cream thickens, remove the saucepan from the stove. Let the mixture cool.

Make cuts at the corners on the squares of dough. Put a portion of the cream in the center, thanks to the thick consistency and the added starch, it will not spread. Raise the edges and join so that the puff resembles a flower. Place the products on a baking sheet covered with baking paper, make several punctures on each puff with a fork. Place the baking sheet in an oven preheated to 200 degrees.

The puffs are baked for about 20 minutes, they should increase in size and acquire a beautiful golden hue. Put the finished products on a board, cool, sprinkle with powdered sugar.

Baking can be diversified by putting pieces of fruit under the cream: stewed apples, apricots or peaches from compote. Thick jam or jam will do. Fruity notes will make the taste of baked goods brighter and more original.

Ingredients:

  • 300 g of purchased or homemade puff pastry;
  • 50 g butter;
  • 50 g icing sugar;
  • 3 tsp ground cinnamon;
  • 0.5 cups of large seedless raisins;
  • 1 egg;
  • 2 drops of vanilla essence;
  • confectionery cherries for decoration.

For glaze:

  • 100 g icing sugar;
  • 5 tbsp. l. water.

Rinse the raisins, add hot water for 20 minutes, put in a colander and dry. Roll out the dough into a rectangle measuring 50 x 20 cm. Grease the surface with melted butter, sprinkle evenly with powdered sugar and ground cinnamon. Spread the raisins on top, roll the dough into a roll and cut into 12 mm wide cubes. Roll them out slightly with a rolling pin so that the rolls become flat and resemble wheels.

Place the blanks on a baking sheet covered with baking paper, grease the products with a beaten egg. Bake for 15 minutes at 200-220 degrees. Prepare the icing by mixing the icing sugar and water. Grind the mass until completely homogeneous.

Remove the baked goods from the oven and place on a board. Decorate the hot puffs with strokes of icing sugar, put a cherry on each product. Serve warm or completely cooled.

Appetizing pineapple puffs

Low-calorie option for those who follow the figure. Any ready-made puff pastry is suitable for baking; canned pineapples from compote are used as the filling. From the indicated amount of ingredients, 10 medium-sized puffs are obtained.

Ingredients:

  • 450 g of ready-made yeast-free puff pastry;
  • 550 g canned pineapple in syrup;
  • 1 egg for lubrication.

Defrost the finished dough, cut into squares with sides of 10 cm. Fold the blanks diagonally, make cuts along the edges and unfold the squares. Take pineapple rings out of the jar, let the juice drain.

Put a pineapple slice in the center of each square, lift the opposite corners of the squares and connect. If the dough does not stick well, moisten it with water. Place the blanks on a baking sheet lined with baking paper, grease the puffs with a beaten egg. Bake for 15 minutes at 200 degrees. Finished products can be sprinkled with powdered sugar or coconut.

Puff with apples: tasty and simple

From puff pastry, you can make beautiful roses with pieces of fresh apples. The baked goods look very impressive, the proportions of sugar can be adjusted to taste. From the specified amount of products, 4 rolls are obtained.

Ingredients:

  • 150 g of finished puff yeast-free dough;
  • 2 medium-sized juicy sweet and sour apples;
  • 1 st. l. Sahara.

Wash, dry, cut the apples and remove the core. Cut the fruit into thin slices along with the peel. Place the blanks in the microwave for one minute, the slices should become softer, but keep their shape. If there is no microwave oven, apples are blanched in boiling water for 1.5-2 minutes.

Defrost the puff pastry and roll it into a layer. Cut it into strips 3 cm wide. The longer they are, the larger the buns will be. Spread the stripes on the board, place apple slices on top so that the rounded edges protrude in the form of a fringe. Twist the strips with a roll, giving them the appearance of roses, pinch the edges.

Place the workpieces on a baking sheet lined with baking paper or oiled. Sprinkle the buns with sugar, put in the oven, preheated to 200 degrees. Bake until golden brown, chill on the board and serve. If desired, sugar can be mixed with ground cinnamon, and lightly sprinkled with powdered sugar on the finished buns.
