Lovely light breakfast. Chicken on a crispy slice of French bread with basil and bell pepper. The filling options vary as desired.
It is necessary
- - one French baguette;
- - one bell pepper;
- - lime;
- - green chili;
- - head of garlic;
- - 4 chicken breast fillets;
- - 0, 5 tbsp. basil leaves;
- - 4 tbsp. tablespoons of olive oil;
- - salt, pepper - to taste.
Instructions
Step 1
Cut the bell pepper into 4 parts, peeled from seeds. Also process the green chili and chop finely. Cut the chicken breasts into 16 slices. Squeeze the juice from the lime half into a separate container, grate the zest.
Step 2
Heat the oven. Place the pepper chunks on a baking sheet, skin side down. Cook for 10 minutes, until the peppers are brown.
Step 3
Place in a bag to cool. Peel the cooled parts of the pepper. Cut the resulting pulp into thin slices.
Step 4
In a separate bowl, combine lime juice and zest, chili pepper, crushed garlic, olive oil, salt and pepper. Pour the resulting sauce over the chicken breasts.
Step 5
Take a dry casserole or skillet and bake the chicken in it for 5-6 minutes.
Step 6
Meanwhile, cut the bread into 8 pieces, 2 cm wide. Brush one side of the bread with olive oil.
Step 7
Toast the bread, buttered side up, for 2 minutes, until golden brown.
Step 8
Place two slices of bread on a plate. Top with torn basil leaves and 4 pieces of chicken on top. Place the bell pepper slices on top of the meat.
