Recipes often mention to use homemade tomato paste. At this point, many housewives refuse to cook the dish, because they do not know how to make a universal tomato sauce. It's actually very simple and takes very little time.
It is necessary
- - 2 kg of ripe tomatoes;
- - 3 carrots;
- - 2 green peppers;
- - onion;
- - sugar;
- - salt;
- - olive oil.

Step 1
Tomatoes need to be washed, peeled, cut into medium-sized pieces.
Step 2
Cut the onion and pepper into small chips, and the carrots into thin slices. Fry them in olive oil until golden brown. Add tomatoes to the pan, reduce heat and simmer vegetables for an hour, stirring occasionally.
Step 3
Grind the sauce in a blender and return to the pan. Simmer for another hour. A couple of minutes before cooking, salt and add a pinch of sugar.

The sauce can be prepared in any quantity and frozen so that it is always at hand for any recipe.
