Italian frittata dish, very similar to tortilla, a casserole of Spanish origin. This is a kind of omelet, using various products. By changing the composition of the ingredients, frittata is convenient to serve for breakfast.
It is necessary
- - chicken egg - 5 pcs.;
- - olive oil - 3 tablespoons;
- - smoked meat - 75 g;
- - tomatoes - 2-3 pcs.;
- - onion - 1 pc.;
- - milk - 100 ml;
- - fresh greens - a bunch;
- - salt and nutmeg to taste.
Instructions
Step 1
Peel the onion, cut into small cubes. Heat a frying pan with olive oil, add the onion cubes. Fry the product until golden brown. Chop the smoked meat finely, place with the onion, stir occasionally with a wooden spatula.
Step 2
Dip the tomatoes in a pot of boiling water for 30 seconds. Having previously made a cruciform incision on each vegetable. After removing from the pan, dip the tomatoes in ice water. Peel the tomatoes and remove the seeds. Cut the tomato pulp into slices. Spread the tomato slices over the onions and meat, cover the pan with a lid and simmer for 10 minutes. Reduce the fire to a minimum.
Step 3
At the end of cooking, sprinkle the mixture with nutmeg powder and salt. Mix the whole composition gently.
Step 4
Wash eggs for frittata, break one at a time into a small bowl, then combine in one bowl. This manipulation is necessary so that a spoiled egg is not accidentally caught.
Step 5
Salt the eggs and mix with milk, beat the composition until smooth. Rinse the greens, shake off the water. Finely chop the leaves, mix with the egg mixture. Pour the resulting mass into the pan, stir. Fry the frittata until golden brown.
Step 6
If you have extra time, keep the dish in the oven for 10-15 minutes at a temperature of 200 degrees. Serve the frittata hot.
