At home, you can make a fantastic pizza with a crispy thin crust and a wonderful smoky flavor. The taste of the dough will be complemented by canned peppers, red onions, tomato sauce. Optionally, you can add smoked fish, sausage, carrots, pieces of yesterday's chicken.
It is necessary
- For two people:
- - olive oil - to taste;
- - sweet pickled peppers - 100 g;
- - red onions - 0.25 pcs;
- - Ricotta cheese - 140 g;
- - cayenne pepper - 0.25 tsp;
- - cumin - 0.5 tsp;
- - cloves of garlic - 2 cloves;
- - salt - 0.5 tsp;
- - tomato - 1 pc;
- - yeast dough - 450 g.
Instructions
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 220oC. Roll out thawed or cooked pizza dough into a 35 cm circle. Place the tortilla on a baking sheet, sprinkle with oil.
Step 2
Whisk the tomatoes, cayenne pepper, cumin, garlic and salt in a blender. Spread the sauce liberally over the pizza base.
Step 3
Sprinkle with half of the cheese on top. It can be goat cheese, ricotta, feta. Place the thinly sliced red onion halves.
Step 4
Next, lay out the slices of sweet pickled peppers or jalapenos. Sprinkle with leftover cheese.
Step 5
Bake the homemade Mexican style pizza in the oven for 12 minutes, until golden brown crispy. Remove the finished dish from the oven, let cool slightly, cut into pieces and serve.
