In addition, you can change the recipe for homemade ice cream to your liking and make, for example, a low-calorie treat without cream, using skim milk alone.

Or vice versa, using high-quality cream, make homemade ice cream with the taste of a real ice cream from the times of the USSR.

The simplest homemade ice cream recipe is characterized by the availability of ingredients and the ease of making everyone's favorite treat.

Homemade dairy ice cream

To make milk ice cream at home, you will need 1 glass of milk, 1 chicken egg, 2 tbsp. granulated sugar and a bag of vanilla sugar.

Beat the egg with sugar and vanilla, gradually pour milk into the mixture as you beat it. The resulting mass is heated almost to a boil over low heat, beating continuously with a whisk or mixer.

Using a mixer allows you to get a homogeneous air mass, which solidifies without the formation of ice crystals.

It is important to remember that you do not need to bring the mixture to a boil - just heat it well, whisking constantly, otherwise the milk mass may "curl".

The hot mixture is cooled slightly, poured into molds and put into the freezer for 4-6 hours. During this time, the ice cream must be mixed 2-3 times.

If the ice cream begins to freeze and is difficult to stir, then beat it slightly with a fork.

If desired, before freezing, you can add 2-3 teaspoons of cocoa, chopped nuts, dried fruits, berries, coconut, finely grated chocolate to the milk mass before freezing.

Ready-made ice cream is served with jam, syrup, and decorated with candied fruits.

To make chocolate-cream homemade ice cream, you need a bar of dark chocolate melted in a water bath or in a microwave oven.

While the chocolate is melting, beat the mixture from a can of condensed milk and 600 ml of heavy cream (more than 30%) with a mixer.

In the process of whipping, melted chocolate and 100 g of chocolate cookies, broken into small pieces, are gradually added to the mixture.

Ice cream is poured into a mold and put into the freezer until it solidifies. The mixture does not require stirring, does not form crystals.

At the whipping stage, you can add not only pieces of cookies, but also slices of chocolate to the creamy mass, then the finished ice cream will turn out with beautiful chocolate chips.

Probably everyone remembers the taste of the refreshing sour sherbet in a paper cup? Making such ice cream at home is not difficult.

To prepare low-calorie fruit ice cream, you need half a glass of any frozen berries: cherries, blueberries, currants, etc.

Pour the berries into a blender bowl, add 0.5 cups of low-fat yogurt or milk, 2 tsp. sugar, fructose or honey.
