Instructions

Step 1

Rub the lemon zest on a fine grater, and squeeze all the juice from the lemon itself into a bowl. Divide the eggs into yolks and whites. Add egg yolks to the zest and juice, pour in the milk, beat thoroughly with a whisk or just with a fork. Sift flour there, add sugar, beat until smooth.

Step 2

Beat the egg whites separately with a pinch of salt. Whisk until strong peaks are formed. Gently pour the whites into the dough. The dough will turn out to be liquid - this is normal, it should be so.

Step 3

Grease the molds with oil, place them on a baking sheet, which is filled with hot water - it should cover the molds only to the middle. Pour the milk-lemon dough into the molds. Place the baking sheet in the oven.

Step 4

Bake lemon pudding for 35-40 minutes in an oven preheated to 180 degrees.

Step 5

Remove the finished pudding from the molds, transfer to flat dessert plates, top with berry jam, jam or sauce. Even ordinary condensed milk can be used as a sauce. This pudding tastes best when warm.
