Did you know that tuna is also called "sea veal" for its taste? Indeed, fried tuna strongly resembles boiled pork, but at the same time it is softer, softer, juicier and faster to cook. This recipe uses the classic fish side dish, potatoes, and green beans rolled into thinly sliced bacon.
It is necessary
- For two servings:
- - 2-4 pieces of frozen yellowfin tuna fillet (depending on size);
- - 3-4 medium-sized potatoes;
- - 4-6 cherry tomatoes or 1 ground tomato;
- - 150 g green beans;
- - 4-6 strips of bacon;
- - salt (to taste);
- - 2 tsp lemon juice (optional);
- - ground black and / or allspice (to taste);
- - herbs for decoration (parsley, dill, etc.);
- - vegetable oil for frying (unrefined sunflower or olive oil).
Instructions
Step 1
Remove the fish pieces from the refrigerator and thaw at room temperature. During this time, prepare everything else.
Step 2
Wash thoroughly and boil the jacket potatoes. Cool it down.
Step 3
Boil green beans in a little salted water or steam until tender.
Step 4
Lightly fry the thin slices of bacon. To avoid overdrying, use medium heat, otherwise the bacon will break when you try to curl it. Put on a plate, cool, remove excess fat with a napkin. Make rolls: Gather a few bean pieces and wrap them in bacon.
Step 5
Rinse the pieces of tuna with water and dry. Season with salt, pepper, sprinkle with lemon juice. Brush with vegetable oil using a cooking brush. Let stand for 5 minutes.
Step 6
Preheat a skillet. Add fish pieces, fry on each side for 2-4 minutes (depending on the desired degree of doneness). Transfer the fish to plates. You can cut the tuna into thin slices before serving.
Step 7
While the tuna is cooking, peel the potatoes, cut into pieces, salt and fry in a pan (with the addition of oil, preferably sunflower). Place on a plate. Place the bean and bacon rolls nearby.
Step 8
Wash and drain the herbs and tomatoes. If using cherry tomatoes, they can be cut in half or served whole; if you are using a regular tomato, cut it into thin half-rings and place nicely on a plate. Finely chop some of the greens and sprinkle over the whole dish. Decorate additionally with the remaining small beautiful twigs.
