Regular mashed potatoes can be turned into an original side dish in just a few minutes. All you need is butter, flour, and a deep frying pan.
It is necessary
- - 1 kg of potatoes
- - ground red pepper
- - ground black pepper
- - salt
- - butter
- - 2 eggs
- - vegetable oil
- - flour or bread crumbs
Instructions
Step 1
Peel the potatoes and boil until tender in lightly salted water. Drain the liquid and mash the tubers thoroughly.
Step 2
Melt 100 g butter and pour into mashed potatoes. Mix the ingredients thoroughly with a mixer or a wooden pestle.
Step 3
Without letting the potatoes cool, add raw eggs, salt, black and red pepper. Repeat the procedure for thoroughly mixing the ingredients.
Step 4
Form small balls of the resulting mashed potatoes, each of which carefully roll in flour.
Step 5
Heat 1 cup vegetable oil in a deep skillet. While the liquid is boiling, place the potato balls in it. Wait until golden brown and remove the garnish onto a paper towel.
