It is becoming more and more difficult to surprise guests for a modern hostess. To please them not only with the original taste, but also with the interesting appearance of the dish, try preparing a delicious puff salad with smoked chicken and almonds in the shape of a pine cone.

It is necessary

  • - 200 g of processed cheese;
  • - 4 boiled eggs;
  • - one small onion;
  • - 200 g of smoked chicken;
  • - 1 can of corn or peas;
  • - 2-3 boiled potatoes;
  • - mayonnaise;
  • - almonds;
  • - rosemary (can be substituted with dill or parsley).

Instructions

Step 1

Boil potatoes in their skins, cool them, peel them. Boil the eggs for ten minutes, refrigerate and peel. In a clean, dry dish, spread the salad in layers, forming a "bump", coat each layer with mayonnaise.

Step 2

Separate the chicken from the bones. It is best to take the breast - with it the salad will turn out more tender. If you can't buy smoked chicken, then it can be replaced with boiled or grilled.

Step 3

Peel the onion and chop finely. To make the strongly pronounced taste and crunch disappear from the onion, it can be scalded with boiling water. Regular onions can also be substituted for red salad.

Step 4

Add canned peas or corn to your salad to your liking. It can also be replaced with finely chopped pickled cucumbers.

Step 5

Grind the boiled and peeled eggs, put the next layer on a dish.

Step 6

Finely chop a small handful of toasted and peeled almonds. Mix it with melted cheese, spread evenly over the surface of the salad, giving the final shape. The last layer does not require coating with mayonnaise.

Step 7

Decorate the salad with whole almond nuts, stick them into the base, simulating the growth of scales on a cone. Make a twig out of the greenery. Instead of rosemary, you can take parsley, dill, thin arrows of green onions.
