Chinese cabbage with bacon and cheese makes a great hot snack. The dish is prepared quickly and easily. The specified amount of food is enough for 3 servings.

- - Chinese cabbage - 1 head of cabbage (150 g);
- - blue cheese (dor blue) - 100 g;
- - bacon - 50 g;
- - red onion - 1 head;
- - thyme (greens) - 3-4 branches;
- - olive oil - 3 tbsp. l.;
- - balsamic vinegar - 1 tbsp. l.;
- - salt - a pinch;
- - ground black pepper - a pinch.
Instructions
Step 1
Preparing vegetables. Wash the cabbage, cut it lengthwise with a sharp knife, then cut each half lengthwise into 4 more pieces. Peel the onion, cut into half rings.
Step 2
Sprinkle the bok choy with olive oil and grill for 2-3 minutes on each side. Salt.
Step 3
Cut the bacon into thin slices. Preheat a skillet and add bacon, fry until golden brown. Transfer the bacon to a paper towel to absorb any excess fat.
Step 4
Cooking the sauce. Put the onion in the pan where the bacon was cooked and fry it until golden brown, then add thyme, 2 tablespoons of olive oil, balsamic vinegar to the onion and simmer the mixture for another 1-2 minutes. The sauce is ready.
Step 5
Carefully cut the cheese into cubes.
Step 6
Put some cabbage on a serving plate, pour onion sauce over it. Then add some bacon and cheese cubes. Season the dish and garnish with thyme sprigs.
