Meat braids are braided pork chops that are marinated in lemon juice and mustard. The dish turns out to be not only very tasty, but also beautiful and original.
It is necessary
- - 500 grams of pork;
- - flour;
- - 1 tsp mustard;
- - 100 grams of onions;
- - salt and pepper;
- - 1/2 lemon;
- - vegetable oil.
Instructions
Step 1
Take a few onions, peel and cut into half rings.
Step 2
Take pork, cut the meat into small portions from 0.5 to 1 centimeter wide. Use a kitchen hammer to beat each slice. Season the meat and pepper, then step back a little from the top and make several vertical cuts with a knife.
Step 3
Braid pigtails from the three resulting strips, pin the edges with toothpicks, put the chopped onion in a container, slightly remember it with your hands so that juice appears.
Step 4
Add mustard, squeeze the juice of half a lemon onto the braids. Mix everything with your hands. Leave to marinate for at least 1 hour.
Step 5
Dip each pigtail in flour on all sides, heat vegetable oil in a pan.
Step 6
Place the braids in a skillet and grill for a few minutes over high heat. Flip over and fry the other side for a few more minutes.
Step 7
Reduce heat and sauté until cooked through, about 3 minutes, then free the cooked braids from the toothpicks.
