The basis of the "New Year's Palace" dessert is Turkish flour halva. For taste, add orange and cinnamon to the dessert, the usual sweetness will turn into a festive New Year's dessert.

- - 1, 5 Art. l. shelled pine nuts
- - 1 cup granulated sugar
- - 2 pcs. egg yolk
- - 0.5 liters of milk
- - 1 orange
- - 125 g margarine
- - 1 tbsp. l. cinnamon
- - 1 glass of flour
Instructions
Step 1
Stir the sugar, egg yolks and milk well. If you like, you can add orange zest to the milk.
Step 2
Melt the margarine in a saucepan, add the nuts. Stir and brown the nuts for a couple of minutes.
Step 3
Then add flour while stirring. Continue toasting the nuts until they begin to darken, about 5-10 minutes. Remember to mix well.
Step 4
Slowly add milk, yolk and sugar to the flour, stirring well with a whisk. Cook the dessert over medium heat until thickened.
Step 5
Form balls with your hands, place them on a plate. From this number of products, approximately 14 balls will be obtained.
Step 6
Cut orange into slices, place between balls. Sprinkle with cinnamon, garnish with orange serpentine. Juice the leftover orange for dessert.
