Chebureki is an excellent meat dish. Let's add a little imagination and turn it into a vegetarian by replacing the meat filling with mushroom. Such a dish can be eaten during the days of Great Lent.
It is necessary
- To prepare 10-12 pasties:
- For the test:
- - wheat flour - 3 glasses;
- - water - 250 grams;
- - sunflower oil - 1 tbsp. the spoon;
- - salt to taste.
- For filling:
- - champignons -1 kg;
- - onions - 3 heads;
- - oil for frying;
- - salt, pepper to taste.
Instructions
Step 1
Sift the premium flour through a sieve, pour in warm water, oil and add salt. Knead the dough thoroughly until it becomes elastic and also stops sticking to your hands. Cover the finished dough with a bowl or a clean towel. The dough should "rest" for about half an hour.
Step 2
Peel mushrooms, onions and chop finely. First fry the onion in a pan until golden brown, then add the mushrooms. Fry over medium heat, adding salt and pepper.
Step 3
Form the dough into a "sausage". Mentally we divide into 10 parts (10 pasties), we cut off one. Cover the rest of the dough.
Step 4
From this part we make a ball, then a cake. Roll out with a rolling pin, trying to maintain the shape of a circle.
Step 5
When the dough sheet reaches about 30 cm in diameter, put the finished filling on one side of it, leaving 2-3 cm at the edge. Cover the filling with the second half of the dough. We fasten the edges by pressing them with a fork.
Step 6
We send the resulting cheburek to a preheated pan, and fry in a large amount of oil on both sides.
Bon Appetit!
