Almost no sweet tooth can refuse chocolate in any form. To indulge in a delicious dessert with incredible chocolate and cocoa aromas, you can make a muffin that requires simple ingredients.
Chocolate muffin: essential ingredients
- 5 eggs;
- 250 g flour;
- 250 g butter;
- 250 g of fine sugar or powdered sugar;
- 50 g cocoa (from 70%);
- 1 bag of baking powder;
- 150 g of dark chocolate (from 70%);
- 200 ml of heavy cream;
- 60 g butter.
Chocolate muffin: preparation
Melt the butter in the microwave or on the stove, but so that it does not boil.
Beat eggs with sugar until light foam forms. Pour in melted butter and mix well.
Mix the flour with baking powder and cocoa, sift the dry ingredients into a bowl with eggs, mix the ingredients well so that there is not a single lump, leave to rise for 10 minutes.
Grease the cake pan with butter.
Lay out the dough and distribute it evenly. Bake in an oven preheated to 170C for 20 minutes, then another 10-15 minutes, but covering the form with foil.
Put the finished cake out of the mold on the wire rack, let cool for 1-1.5 hours.
To prepare the glaze, bring the cream to a boil, reduce the heat to low, add the chocolate and butter, and stir until a homogeneous cream is obtained.
Spread the icing evenly over the cake and put the baked goods in the refrigerator. Once the frosting has set, the cake can be served.
Tips and tricks:
1) If you don't feel like making the icing, you can do without it. In this case, the cake should be served hot with vanilla ice cream.
2) You can safely add candied fruits, raisins, any nuts to the dough.
3) Coffee lovers can replace cocoa with the same amount of instant coffee.
