Panna cotta is a popular creamy dessert originally from Italy, based on the principle of preparation, reminiscent of jelly. Panna cotta is served either in glass bowls, or the contents are flipped onto a plate and garnished with berry sauce. Making such a treat at home is quite simple.
It is necessary
- - 200 ml cream 20% fat
- - 100 ml of milk
- - 90-100 g of dark quality chocolate
- - 2-3 tbsp. tablespoons of fine sugar
- - 10 g of instant gelatin powder
- - 150 ml of hot boiled water
Instructions
Step 1
Pour gelatin into a cup and pour hot water, the temperature of which should be about 60 degrees Celsius - you cannot pour boiling water over it. Stir and let the gelatin completely dissolve in the water.
Step 2
Pour cream, milk, sugar into a saucepan. Set aside a little less chocolate for decoration, finely break the rest of the chocolate and add to the cream.
Step 3
Place the pot on the stove and simmer over low heat, stirring occasionally, until the sugar is completely dissolved. At the very end, add the loose gelatin and mix - do not let the mass boil.
Step 4
Pour the creamy chocolate mass into silicone or glass molds - pour carefully so as not to splatter the walls if you are going to serve dessert in the same dish. Put in the refrigerator for a few hours, preferably overnight.
Step 5
Take the finished panna cotta out of the refrigerator. Grate the remaining chocolate and garnish the desserts with the resulting shavings.
Step 6
Serve immediately with a spoon. You can optionally arrange desserts with whipped cream and berries.
