It is necessary

  • - about 800 g of cabbage;
  • - 200 g of butter (you can take any, even salted with seasonings);
  • - three chicken eggs;
  • - five tablespoons of fat sour cream;
  • - two to three tablespoons of mayonnaise;
  • - two glasses of flour;
  • - a teaspoon of salt;
  • - two teaspoons of baking powder.

Instructions

Step 1

It is necessary to remove the top leaves from the cabbage (about two or four leaves), rinse the head of cabbage itself and chop finely. Put all the butter in a thick-bottomed saucepan, melt it and put the cabbage in it. Season with salt and simmer for five minutes over high heat (to avoid burning, you need to stir constantly).

Step 2

In one bowl, mix flour, salt and baking powder (you should not replace the baking powder in this recipe with soda, as the pie can turn out with an unpleasant aftertaste), and in another, beat the eggs thoroughly (you can use both a mixer and a whisk) so that they increase in volume twice.

Step 3

Add sour cream and mayonnaise to the beaten eggs, mix everything carefully so that the mass does not settle (if it settles, then the cake will turn out to be less lush and tender).

Step 4

Mix the flour and the egg and sour cream mixture. The consistency of the dough should be like thick sour cream, but more airy.

Step 5

Grease a baking dish with oil (if you are using silicone, then you can skip this stage), put the cabbage in it, then pour it with the previously prepared dough.

Step 6

Bake in a preheated oven for about 25 minutes at a temperature of 200-220 degrees. After the time has elapsed, the cake must be taken out of the oven and allowed to stand for a few minutes, having covered it with a towel beforehand (after this procedure it will become more juicy). Baking can be served both hot and cold, its taste remains unchanged.
