These tomatoes can serve as a wonderful spring side dish or as an independent dish!
It is necessary
- Serves 4:
- - 4 large, strong tomatoes;
- - 90 g of long grain rice;
- - 1 tbsp. olive oil;
- - 1 onion;
- - 2 cloves of garlic;
- - 40 g of your favorite nuts;
- - 20 g of light raisins;
- - parsley, basil, pepper and salt to taste.
Instructions
Step 1
Boil the rice until cooked in accordance with the instructions. Finely chop the nuts, chop the greens. Chop the onion into small cubes.
Step 2
Heat the olive oil in a frying pan and fry the onion until transparent. Add chopped nuts and keep on fire for a couple of minutes. Remove from the stove, add finely grated garlic.
Step 3
Preheat the oven to 190 degrees. We make "pots" from tomatoes: cut off the top and remove the liquid with a spoon, and then take out the pulp. Add a little salt and turn them over onto a paper towel to further remove moisture. In the meantime, cut the pulp and mix it with boiled rice, onions and raisins. We fill the tomatoes, cover with a lid - on top and send to the oven for 20 - 25 minutes. You can serve both warm and cold.
