In this recipe, pork is placed on onion rings before baking and covered with potatoes and hard cheese to form an unusually crispy crust. Such a dish can be prepared for an ordinary family dinner or for a festive feast. But the number of servings must be accurately calculated, since this dish is not stored in the refrigerator.

Ingredients:

  • 3 pieces of pork (neck);
  • 1 onion;
  • 3 potatoes;
  • 50 g soft cheese;
  • Black pepper;
  • Dill greens;
  • Mayonnaise.

Preparation:

  1. Grease a baking dish with plenty of oil.
  2. Peel the onion, wash, cut into rings and place on the bottom of the mold in an even layer. In this dish, all you need from the onion is its aroma, which complements the pork meat.
  3. Thoroughly beat off 3 large enough pieces of meat, grate with pepper on all possible sides, put on a layer of onion and pour over with soy sauce.
  4. Peel the potatoes, wash, cut into thin slices and lay on top of the meat. Note that the baking time of the dish will depend on the fineness of the potato slices. The thicker the circles, the longer they will bake.
  5. Grease the potato layer liberally with mayonnaise using a silicone brush.
  6. Grate soft cheese on a fine grater, sprinkle on a greased layer of potatoes and smooth with your hands.
  7. Place the filled form in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 50 minutes. After this time, try the potatoes for readiness, if they are ready, then turn off the oven, but do not remove the casserole for another 10 minutes.
  8. Remove the cooked pork with a crispy potato cheese crust from the oven, cut into portions, arrange on plates, garnish with dill sprigs and serve with fresh vegetables, possibly green salads. Note that this casserole does not stick to the shape and is very easy to cut, crunching with its aromatic cheese crust.
