To cook crab sticks in batter, you will need:
- 250-300 g of crab sticks;
- 100 g of mayonnaise;
- vegetable oil;
For batter:
- 2 eggs;
- 2 tbsp. l. flour;
- salt.
In batter, you can cook both chilled and frozen crab sticks (you must first defrost them). Remove the film from the crab sticks. Prepare the batter. To do this, beat the pre-cooled eggs with a wooden vesicle, then add flour, a pinch of salt and stir everything well until a homogeneous consistency. Dip the crab sticks in the batter and fry on both sides in a skillet with heated vegetable oil. Place ready-made crab sticks on a platter and top with mayonnaise before serving.
Recipe for crab sticks in marinade and batter
Spending only 5-10 minutes more time, you can cook savory crab sticks in marinade and batter. For this you need to take:
- 200 g of crab sticks;
- 500 ml of vegetable oil;
For the marinade:
- 1 tbsp. l. lemon juice;
- 1 tsp. vegetable oil;
- 1 tsp. soy sauce;
- ground white pepper.
For batter:
- 3 eggs;
- 100 ml of milk;
- 50 g flour;
- 5 g lemon zest;
- salt;
- pepper.
Prepare the crab sticks: defrost if necessary, remove the shells. Combine lemon juice, soy sauce, vegetable oil, white pepper and whisk lightly. Pour the prepared marinade over the crab sticks and set aside for 10 minutes. At this time, prepare the batter. To do this, separate the yolks from the whites. Add a little salt to the egg whites and beat until stiff. Then add lemon zest, grated on a fine grater and, after gently mixing, refrigerate. Rub the yolks thoroughly with salt. Then pour in milk, add flour and stir everything well. Gently combine the resulting mass with the cooled proteins and mix all the ingredients until smooth. Dip the pickled crab sticks in the prepared batter and deep-fry for 2-3 minutes, turning constantly.

To prepare crab sticks in beer batter you will need:
- 250 g of crab sticks;
- vegetable oil.
For batter:
- 1 egg;
- 4 tbsp. l. flour;
- 50 ml of light beer;
- ½ lemon;
- salt;
- pepper.
Arrange the chilled or thawed crab sticks (freed from the films) on a plate, lightly salt, pepper and sprinkle with lemon juice. Beat the egg until frothy. Pour in beer, add flour and stir all ingredients until smooth. Dip the crab sticks into the prepared batter and fry in well-heated vegetable oil until golden brown.
