Chocolate cake with hazelnuts is truly "autumn" baked goods. The taste of nuts is perfectly combined with the rich taste of the glaze, which makes the cake very tasty and aromatic.
It is necessary
- For the test:
- - 3 cups of hazelnuts;
- - 100 g of insoluble cocoa.
- - 1/2 cup honey;
- - 4 eggs;
- - 1/4 cup vegetable oil;
- - 2 tsp baking powder;
- - salt.
- For glaze:
- - 150 g of insoluble cocoa;
- - 1 tsp. vanillin;
- - 1/2 cup softened butter;
- - 3/4 cup honey.
Instructions
Step 1
Grind the hazelnuts in a blender until they become coarse flour. Place the nut flour in a deep bowl, add cocoa, baking powder and salt to it. In a smaller container, mix the eggs, butter and honey together. Pour the egg-honey mass to the flour mixture and mix the dough thoroughly.
Step 2
Heat the oven to 160 degrees. Grease a baking dish with oil, pour the dough into it, place in the oven. Bake the cake for 40 minutes. After the time has elapsed, take it out and refrigerate.
Step 3
Make the frosting. Combine cocoa, honey, vanillin and softened butter until smooth. Lubricate the top and sides of the cake with the finished icing. Refrigerate for 2 hours to soak the frosting.
