Pork casserole served on cabbage leaves is great for dinner. This is a hearty dish that has a wonderful, full-bodied taste. The recipe is for two servings.
Ingredients:
- Pork chop - 2 pcs;
- Slice of pork with fat - 100 g;
- Carrots - 2 pcs;
- Garlic - 1 clove;
- Onions - 1 pc;
- Cabbage leaves - 3-4 pcs;
- Hard cheese - 50 g;
- Salt;
- Freshly ground pepper.
Preparation:
- First you need to prepare the meat. Pork with fat must be cranked through a meat grinder. Wash the carrots and also send them to the meat grinder. Peel the onion and also process it in a meat grinder. Stir the resulting mixture.
- Garlic chopped in a garlic press should be placed in the minced meat. Add salt, a little freshly ground pepper. If desired, you can pour your favorite seasonings into the minced meat. Pour a little water into the minced meat.
- The next step is to prepare the pork for further roasting. Cut the pork chops around the edges, beat thoroughly with a kitchen hammer, season with salt and pepper.
- After that, the cabbage leaves need to be washed and dried on a napkin. Then the leaves need to be beaten off a little (this is especially true for the thick edge).
- Grease a small baking sheet with sunflower oil and sprinkle with water on top. Put the cabbage leaves on an oiled baking sheet. Put chops on top of cabbage leaves, and ready-made minced meat on them. Minced meat should be lightly pressed against the chops.
- Bake pork chops on cabbage leaves for 30 minutes at 180 degrees. It is better to prepare the oven in advance.
- While the dish is baking, you need to grate cheese, for example "Russian". Sprinkle the cheese 15 minutes before the pork chops are ready. Serve hot pork chops on cabbage leaves. A variety of fresh vegetables and mashed potatoes are perfect for garnish with this dish.
