  • - granulated sugar - 160 g;
  • - butter - 60 g;
  • - chicken egg - 2 pcs.;
  • - a mixture of candied fruits and nuts - 150 g;
  • - baking powder - 0.5 tsp;
  • - vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons

Instructions

Step 1

Place the sifted flour in a deep bowl. Mix it with baking powder and granulated sugar. Add candied fruits with nuts, stir. Mix the softened butter with the resulting mixture.

Step 2

Wash the eggs, break into a total mass, knead the dough. Divide the resulting piece into two parts. Roll the sausages out of each into loaves.

Step 3

Prepare a baking sheet, line it with oiled tracing paper (baking paper). Arrange the shaped bars neatly and place in the oven to bake. Bake for 30 minutes at 180 degrees, during which time the products will acquire a light golden color.

Step 4

After removing the baking sheet from the oven, cool the workpieces. Next, cut obliquely with a sharp knife. Place the resulting semi-finished products on a sheet, bake on each side for 10 minutes. Cooked biscotti can be stored in glass or other convenient containers for several weeks. Such cookies are usually served with coffee, tea, and other drinks.
