Soon the New Year and we are slowly beginning to think about what to cook for the festive table. On New Year's Eve, I start cooking a turkey stuffed with prunes, apples and walnuts. Decorate the finished dish with lemon, herbs and decorative cones. Nice, tasty and festive.
It is necessary
- - 1 medium turkey;
- - a little salt;
- - a little black pepper;
- - 1 glass of sour cream;
- - 50 g butter;
- - 50 g of mayonnaise.
- For filling:
- - 1 glass of rice;
- - 500 g of prunes;
- - 500 g of walnuts;
- - 500 g of apples.
- For baking:
- - 75 g of vegetable oil.
Instructions
Step 1
We wash the turkey, if there are feathers on the carcass, then boldly remove them.
Step 2
Put the prunes in a bowl, fill with warm water and leave for ten minutes. Then we drain the water, rinse and dry.
Step 3
Wash apples, peel, remove cores.
Step 4
We wash the rice from impurities.
Step 5
We turn prunes, walnuts and peeled apples in a meat grinder. Mix the filling with the rice.
Step 6
We fill the turkey with the filling, sew up the abdomen.
Step 7
In a cup, mix sour cream, mayonnaise and softened butter, salt and pepper to taste (if you wish, you can add a little paprika). Lubricate the turkey carcass with the resulting mixture.
Step 8
Grease the heat-resistant form with vegetable oil (you can bake the turkey on a baking sheet, this is optional). We put the turkey in the form.
Step 9
Set the temperature to 180 degrees on the oven, heat it up. We put the turkey in the oven and bake for about two hours. When baking, pour a small amount of melted fat over the turkey.
Step 10
Put the finished turkey carcass on a dish, remove the strings. Decorate with thin slices of lemon and sprigs of fresh herbs (to taste).
