Draniki is a famous dish of Belarusian cuisine made from potatoes. For their ease of preparation and low price, they are loved by many housewives. But no less tender and tasty pancakes are obtained in the Russian way, namely, from white cabbage.
It is necessary
- - white cabbage - 500-600 g;
- - chicken eggs - 2 pcs.;
- - large onions - 1 pc.;
- - flour - 2 tbsp. l. with a small slide;
- - garlic - 3 cloves;
- - fresh dill - 0.5 bunch;
- - fresh cilantro - 0.5 bunch;
- - ground black pepper;
- - salt;
- - sunflower oil for frying.
Instructions
Step 1
Peel the onions and garlic. Cut the onion into thin quarter-rings, and crush the garlic through a press or finely chop with a knife. Remove the first two layers of leaves from the cabbage, chop it into narrow short strips and remember well with your hands to make the juice stand out. Rinse the dill and cilantro under water and chop.
Step 2
Put all the chopped ingredients - onion, cabbage, garlic, cilantro and dill in a large bowl, add black pepper, salt to taste and mix everything well. Crack the chicken eggs, add flour and stir again.
Step 3
Pour 7-8 tablespoons of sunflower oil into a frying pan and heat it up. From the cabbage mass, blind the cakes with your hands, squeezing out the juice, and place them in the pan. Alternatively, take a spoon and use it to spread the minced meat.
Step 4
Fry the cabbage pancakes on both sides until golden brown. Transfer the finished products from the pan to a plate lined with paper towels to drain off excess oil. After that, arrange the pancakes in portions and serve along with sour cream.
