Probably everyone has tried potato pancakes. But not many dare to cook something like this from cabbage.
It is necessary
- - red cabbage 0.4 kg;
- - potatoes - 4-6 pcs;
- - carrots - 2 pcs;
- - garlic - 3 cloves;
- - flour - 3 tbsp;
- - semolina - 3 tbsp. without a slide;
- - salt and seasonings to taste;
- - sunflower oil;

Instructions
Step 1
Peel the potatoes and one carrot, rinse and put them in a saucepan with boiling salted water. Cook over medium heat, covered, until tender. Cool the carrots and rub on a coarse grater. Pass the hot potatoes through a meat grinder (you can grind it with a potato grinder).
Step 2
Cut the cabbage into thin strips, 2-3 cm long. If the cabbage is very tough, for 1 min. pour boiling water over it. Knead cabbage straws with a little salt.
Step 3
Peel the raw carrots and grate them on a coarse grater. Peel the garlic, wash and pass through a press or chop very finely.
Step 4
In a deep bowl, combine the potato mass, cabbage, raw carrots and garlic. Add flour, semolina, salt and seasonings to taste, mix well.
Heat the sunflower oil in a frying pan. Spread the potato pancakes with a tablespoon and fry over medium heat for 3-5 minutes on each side.
Step 5
Put the finished potato pancakes on a paper napkin so that the excess fat stacks up, put them on a dish, decorate with boiled grated carrots and sprigs of herbs (optional).
Also, this dish can be cooked in an oven preheated to 200 degrees. Put the potato and cabbage mass on a baking sheet with a slide and bake for 20-25 minutes.
