Springtime is affected by the lack of vitamins in the body. You can replenish and eliminate vitamin deficiency if you regularly consume vegetable salads. A regular vegetable salad can be seasoned with an unpretentious mustard dressing for an unrivaled delight. This salad goes well with meat or fish dishes.
It is necessary
- - sweet bell pepper;
- - medium-sized fresh cucumber;
- - 12-15 pieces of cherry tomatoes;
- - small Yalta onion;
- - half a lemon;
- - 1 tsp. mustard;
- - 4-5 st. tablespoons of olive or any other vegetable oil;
- - salt to taste;
- - fresh herbs (dill, parsley, cilantro, basil, onions, lettuce);
- - 1-2 tsp sesame seeds.
- for the marinade:
- - ½ glass of water;
- - 1 tsp. Sahara;
- - 1 tsp. salt.
Instructions
Step 1
Prepare the marinade by stirring salt and sugar in water, put on fire and bring to a boil.
Step 2
Slice the onion into thin rings. Pour in hot marinade and set aside for 1-2 hours.
Step 3
Squeeze the juice from half a lemon, add mustard, salt and oil, stir well. Wash vegetables, fresh herbs and set aside to dry.
Step 4
Cut the tomatoes into 4 pieces. Remove the stalk from the bell pepper, remove the seeds. Dice cucumber and pepper. Chop the herbs finely. Leave the lettuce leaves intact.
Step 5
Drain the marinade, squeeze the onion. Put chopped vegetables, herbs, onions in a cup, pour in mustard dressing, mix thoroughly.
Step 6
Serve with a serving of vegetable salad on a lettuce leaf, garnish with sesame seeds.
