Turkey meat is considered healthy and dietary. At the same time, turkey can be used to prepare many festive dishes for a large family. Turkey with apples is a recipe for just such a festive feast.

Step 1
Rinse the turkey, grate the outside and inside with salt and lemon juice. Cut the apples into four parts, remove the core. Stuff the turkey belly with apples, sew up the hole. Place the poultry on a baking sheet with the back facing down, brush with melted butter or mayonnaise. Brown the turkey in the oven at 180-220 degrees, then pour over hot water and reduce the temperature to 135-150C. Bake the turkey for 2-3 hours (depending on the weight and age of the bird), pouring over the resulting juice.
Step 2
Remove the threads from the finished turkey, take out the baked apples with a spoon. Cut the skin around the wings and legs, cut the legs and cut in half at the joint. Cut the flesh of the breast in a whole piece and slice it obliquely.
Spread the slices of meat on a wide platter in the form of a whole bird. Arrange the baked potatoes and turkey apples nearby. Fat left over from poultry is suitable as a sauce. Serve green salad or exotic sweet and sour (with plums, for example) as a side dish.
