Instructions
Step 1
The simplest and most satisfying dish is white beans fried in oil. Soak the beans in cold water overnight. In the morning, put it in a colander and put in a frying pan in preheated butter. Add salt and, stirring the mixture with a wooden spatula, cook until soft. Chop fresh cilantro and basil, add to the skillet and stir in the hot beans. Serve as a side dish or as a side dish.
Step 2
For a snack, you can cook green beans in a tomato. Chop the onions finely and fry them in preheated vegetable oil. Place fresh or frozen beans in the skillet. Close the lid and simmer the mixture for a few minutes, shaking the pan frequently. Add tomato juice, pepper, salt and a pinch of sugar to the onion-bean mixture and simmer until tender. Add the sliced tomatoes and cook for a couple more minutes. Season the dish with lemon juice, stir and refrigerate.

A very nutritious and light meal is bean soup. Try a simple Italian-style option. Soak the beans in cold water overnight. In the morning, add vegetable oil, crushed garlic, sage, chopped tomato and celery to it, add salt and pepper and place on the stove. Cook the soup over moderate heat until the beans are soft. Serve with white bread.

For a hearty family meal, prepare red beans in a savory sauce. Boil the beans until soft, discard them in a colander. Cut the onion into thin rings, fry in preheated vegetable oil. Chop the ham into cubes, fry with the onion and mix with the beans. Season the dish with pepper, salt and lemon zest. Place the beans on plates, sprinkle with chopped green onions and serve with boiled potatoes and tomato sauce.
