There are many recipes and methods for making delicious and aromatic meatballs. Traditionally, they are prepared in the form of small meat balls with the addition of cereals (rice, millet, etc.) and vegetables, breaded in flour, preferably rice or wheat.

It is necessary

    • For recipe # 1:
    • 1 kg of meat;
    • 100 g of rice;
    • 1 egg;
    • 200 g onions;
    • 200 g sour cream;
    • 150 g tomato;
    • dill greens;
    • salt
    • pepper to taste.
    • For recipe # 2:
    • 1 kg of chicken fillet;
    • 100 g oatmeal;
    • 100 g flour;
    • 200 g onions;
    • 3 tbsp tomato paste;
    • 3 tbsp sour cream;
    • vegetable oil for frying;
    • dill greens;
    • salt
    • pepper
    • spices to taste.

Instructions

Step 1

Recipe number 1. Wash the greens well and lay them out on a cotton towel to dry. Pour 200 ml of water into a small saucepan and bring to a boil. Pour rice into boiling water before rinsing it. Reduce gas to low and cook for 7-10 minutes. Then fold the cereal onto a sieve so that the liquid is glass, and it cools down a little.

Step 2

Peel and wash onions and carrots under running water. Grate the carrots on a fine grater, and cut the onion into several parts. Cut the washed meat into pieces and pass through a meat grinder. Grind the onion and herbs in a blender. Mix carrots and cooled rice with minced meat, add chopped greens with onions, egg, salt, pepper and mix thoroughly. Form medium balls from the resulting mass.

Step 3

Prepare the sauce. Scald the tomatoes, remove the skin from them and remove the place where the stalk is attached. Then grind in a blender. Combine them with sour cream, add spices and mix thoroughly. Gently place the meat balls in the prepared baking dish and pour the sauce over them. Bake in an oven preheated to 180-190 degrees for 40-50 minutes.

Step 4

Recipe number 2. Wash the chicken fillet, cut into pieces and twist in a meat grinder. Add egg, salt, pepper to the minced meat and mix thoroughly. Form small balls from the resulting mass. Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan and fry the meatballs in it, having previously rolled them in flour.

Step 5

Heat the oil in a saucepan and fry the finely chopped onion in it until golden brown. Add tomato paste and sour cream diluted with water (100 ml), salt, sugar and stir. Simmer the resulting mixture over low heat for 3-4 minutes.

Step 6

Transfer the fried meatballs to a deep saucepan and cover them with the sauce. Simmer over low heat until cooked through (25-30 minutes). Wash the greens and leave them on a towel to dry, then chop finely. Put the finished meatballs on a dish, pour over the sauce, garnish with herbs and serve.
