- - 300 g of pork;
- - 50 g of quince;
- - 1 onion;
- - 1 tomato;
- - 3 tbsp. tablespoons of butter;
- - pepper, salt, fresh parsley.
Instructions
Step 1
If you have frozen pork, thaw it first, rinse it under running water and wipe it with paper towels. Still, it's better to take a chilled piece of meat. Cut the pork into small portions.
Step 2
Peel the onions, cut them into strips. Melt the butter in a skillet, put the prepared onion in it and fry until transparent.
Step 3
Fry the pieces of pork separately in butter, then put them in a saucepan with a thick bottom, cover with water - it should completely cover the meat. Simmer over medium heat, covered, for one hour. If the meat is chilled, it will take less time to cook.
Step 4
Rinse the quince, peel it, remove the core. Next, cut the quince into slices. Rinse fresh parsley and chop with a sharp knife.
Step 5
Add quince slices and previously fried onions to a saucepan with meat. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Simmer everything together until quince is soft - 15 minutes. At the end of stewing, pour fresh parsley into a saucepan, stir.
Step 6
Serve the meat with quince hot. You can additionally use any side dish or serve as a separate dish.
