Step 1
Prepare the dough: In a deep bowl, combine 1 cup sifted flour, 2 tablespoons of sugar, vanilla sugar, and a pinch of salt. Add the poppy.

Beat 2 eggs separately with a whisk, pour in 500 ml of fresh milk, whisk everything thoroughly until smooth. Pour the milk-egg mixture gradually, in small portions, into the flour mixture. When the dough reminds you of sour cream in consistency, mix thoroughly until smooth to get rid of lumps.
Step 3
Pour the remaining liquid into a bowl, stir, and leave for 15 minutes to allow the flour to disperse well. Then pour 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil into a bowl, mix.
Step 4
Heat the frying pan, coat with oil before the first pancake, then this is no longer required. Pour a small amount of dough by tilting the pan so that it spreads over the entire surface of the pan. Fry until golden brown on one side, then gently turn over, fry on the other until tender. Put the finished pancakes one on top of the other on a plate. Use up all the dough this way.

Ready-made poppy seed pancakes can be served with chocolate topping, fruits and berries, sour cream, condensed milk.
