Ruddy bagels prepared according to this recipe have an unusual taste. They are good to use with milk, but also delicious with coffee or tea. Now, during Lent, fasting people can replace butter with vegetable oil, and grease bagels with tea leaves. The bagel dough is prepared in a bread maker.

- - 2 glasses of water
- - a tablespoon of salt
- - a teaspoon of sugar
- - 2 teaspoons of yeast - dry
- - 80 g butter
- - 5 glasses of flour
- - 30 g sesame seeds
- - 30 g poppy seeds
- - 30 ml of milk

Step 1
Load the bread maker with water, sugar, salt, oil, yeast, flour. After an hour and a half, you will have a dough. It should double in volume.
Step 2
Place the dough on an existing work surface. Knead slightly with your hands. If the dough sticks to your hands, add a little flour.
Step 3
Divide the finished dough into small parts, make a ball out of each - you get about 30 of them. Roll each ball into a strip, connect the edges. Let it stand for half an hour in a warm place.
Step 4
Then dip each ring in boiling water and cook on each side for 20 seconds. Remove the rings with a slotted spoon. Place them immediately on a baking sheet.
Step 5
Lubricate each ring with milk, sprinkle with sesame seeds or poppy seeds. Bake at 200 degrees for 20 minutes - until golden brown.
