It is necessary

  • For 12 pieces:
  • - 500 g of apricots;
  • - 2 tbsp. olive oil;
  • - 4 tablespoons honey;
  • - 140 g brown sugar;
  • - 140 g butter;
  • - 4 eggs;
  • - 260 g flour;
  • - 140 g of milk;
  • - 2 tsp baking powder;
  • - 2 tbsp. dry lavender flowers;
  • - almond petals for decoration.

Instructions

Step 1

Remove the oil from the refrigerator in advance, because it should be at room temperature to prepare the dough. In the meantime, wash the apricots, cut them in half, remove the seeds from the core and chop them into small cubes.

Step 2

In a saucepan, combine chopped apricots with olive oil and honey. Put on medium heat and heat-cook until the apricots are softer, but retain their texture.

Step 3

Put the oven to heat up to 200 degrees and grease suitable shapes with oil (I have 12 rectangular ones).

Step 4

Whisk the softened butter and sugar, add eggs one at a time, whisking thoroughly until smooth after each.

Step 5

Sift the flour and baking powder mixture into a separate container. Combine the dry and liquid ingredients mixture and add the milk. Whisk quickly. Add apricots and lavender flowers and gently mix by hand.

Step 6

Fill three quarters of the prepared molds with dough, sprinkle with almond petals and place in the oven for about a quarter of an hour. The finished products will slightly lag behind the edge of the molds and have a pleasant blush.
