There are many ways to make cottage cheese at home. With the advent of new technical means, new recipes appear. For example, in a slow cooker, you can very simply and quickly prepare fresh homemade cottage cheese without any preservatives and additives that this industrial product sometimes sins with.
It is necessary
- - 1 liter of kefir of any fat content;
- - multicooker.
Instructions
Step 1
Pour kefir into a multicooker bowl. Kefir is taken from the calculation: 250 grams of finished cottage cheese per 1 liter of kefir. If the multicooker is large, then the amount of kefir can be increased. Accordingly, the higher the fat content of kefir, the fatter the cottage cheese will turn out.
Step 2
Place the bowl in the multicooker, indicate the "Milk porridge" mode on the display and the cooking time is 30 minutes.
Step 3
At the end of the program, open the multicooker and mix the contents - kefir, stratified into cottage cheese and whey.
Step 4
Then proceed as usual when making homemade cottage cheese: drain the whey through cheesecloth, and leave the cottage cheese in cheesecloth (it is better to hang it) so that the remaining whey will drain. The more whey drains, the drier the curd will be.
