"A la kooka-bureki" pies are a dish from the Arabian cuisine. They turn out to be crumbly, delicate. They consist of an exquisite and spicy filling: tomatoes, onions and peppers. Your guests will not immediately understand what these wonderful pies are made of.

- - 2 cups of flour
- - 1/3 cup butter
- - 1/3 cup water
- - 2 onions
- - 2 tomatoes
- - 1 bell pepper
- - 1 egg yolk
- - chilli
- - salt
- - 1 tbsp. l of vegetable oil

Step 1
First, prepare the filling with vegetables, leave to cool.
Step 2
Pour boiling water over the tomatoes, remove the peel. Dice and chop the onion. Cut the bell pepper into cubes too.
Step 3
Simmer vegetables, season with salt and chili to taste, if necessary, add a little water.
Step 4
Start making the dough. Sift flour, salt and add oil. Knead the dough with your hands to absorb the oil.
Step 5
Add water gradually to soften the dough. Roll out the dough thinly. Cut out the circles. Place the filling on one half, fold in half and pinch the edges well. Roll gently to form a tube, flip over and pinch the folded edge, making a crescent moon.
Step 6
Place the patties on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and brush with yolk. Place in a preheated oven to 180 degrees for about 20-25 minutes.
