I suggest making cheese donuts with semolina. This dish will be an excellent breakfast for the whole family. Preparing is simple. The indicated amount of food is enough for 6 servings.
It is necessary
- - hard cheese - 150 g;
- - semolina - 150 g;
- - milk 2.5% - 0.5 l;
- - eggs - 2 pcs.;
- - butter - 50 g;
- - sunflower oil - 6 tbsp. l.;
- - sour cream 15% - 1 tbsp. l.;
- - flour - 100 g;
- - salt - 0.5 tsp.
Instructions
Step 1
Bring the milk to a boil, season with salt. Gradually pour the semolina in a thin stream into the hot milk, stirring constantly, avoiding the formation of lumps. Boil the porridge until thick. Refrigerate.
Step 2
Separate the whites from the yolks. Beat the yolks. Grate the cheese on a coarse grater.
Step 3
Add softened butter, egg yolks, grated cheese and sour cream to the semolina porridge. Stir well.
Step 4
Put the prepared mass in a layer 1.5 cm thick on a floured board, refrigerate for 1 hour.
Step 5
Using a glass or a cooking form, cut out round donuts (or other figurines) from the mass. Fry on both sides in vegetable oil until golden brown. Top with donuts you can sprinkle with grated cheese and garnish with fresh herbs. The dish is ready! Bon Appetit!
