Pumpkin is an ingredient perfect for both cold and hot appetizers. Raw pumpkin goes well with apples, carrots, fresh herbs. Boiled pumpkin is suitable for appetizers with seafood, meat. In general, pumpkin looks impressive in different dishes, it can even be baked with pears and bacon - you get an interesting and satisfying snack.
It is necessary
- For four servings:
- - 500 g squash pumpkin;
- - 2 pears;
- - 2 slices of bacon;
- - 2 tbsp. spoons of water;
- - 2 teaspoons of olive oil;
- - 1 tbsp. a spoonful of brown sugar;
- - 1 teaspoon of ground pepper;
- - black pepper, coarse salt.

Step 1
Put the oven to preheat to 220 degrees.

Cut the pears into thin slices lengthwise, remove the core, transfer to a bowl.

Cut squash squash lengthwise into quarters, remove seeds, cut thinly across into slices. Transfer the pumpkin to the prepared pears. Pour in olive oil, pepper, salt. Mix, put this mass on a baking sheet in a fairly even layer.

Bake the pumpkin until tender, it will take about 20-25 minutes, sometimes stir the pear-pumpkin mass.

At the same time, fry the bacon until crispy in a preheated skillet, then transfer to a paper napkin.

Mix sugar, water, chili pepper in a saucepan, the sugar should dissolve completely!

Transfer the prepared pumpkin and pears to a bowl, pour over with sweet syrup, mix.
