Chicken breasts are considered the most dietary part of poultry meat. At the same time, the low cost allows you to cook a variety of dishes by changing the ingredients. The Italian style breasts are optimal for the daily menu and have a surprisingly delicate taste.

- –Chicken breasts (2-5 pcs.);
- - olive oil (15 g);
- –Ripe tomatoes (5-7 pcs.);

Instructions
Step 1
Peel the onion and grate on a coarse grater to extract plenty of juice. Pour the olive oil into the onion mixture and place in the skillet. Fry for about 4-7 minutes, then add the crushed garlic.
Step 2
At the same time, grind the tomatoes with a blender or crush them to a uniform consistency with a wooden pestle. Season with salt, oregano and sugar. Place in a skillet. Simmer for at least 12 minutes. This sauce is the highlight of the dish, as it is prepared according to a traditional Italian recipe.
Step 3
Beat off the breasts on both sides on a cutting board with a culinary hammer. Do not overdo it, as the meat fibers can break apart and the chicken will not be juicy.
Step 4
While the sauce is cooling, you need to prepare the batter for the breasts. Take eggs, whisk in a separate cup. Grate different types of cheese on a fine grater and combine with bread crumbs. Don't forget to save some cheese for the last cooking step.
Step 5
Dip each breast first in the egg mixture, and then roll in breadcrumbs and cheese. Place the breasts quickly in the buttered skillet and brown.
Step 6
Pour half the tomato sauce into a deep ovenproof dish, then add the breasts. Top with the remaining sauce on top of the meat, sprinkle with basil and place in the oven to bake. At the end of cooking, sprinkle with cheese and leave in the oven.
