Did you know that you can make not only pies or compote from berries, but also a whole soup? Such a soup perfectly refreshes in the summer heat, and the unusual taste adds piquancy to a dacha dinner.

- Tomatoes - 500 g
- Currant (red or white) - 400 g
- Onion - 1/2 pc.
- Garlic - 2-3 cloves
- Sugar - 2 tsp
- Basil - bunch
- Olive oil - 3 tablespoons
- Pine nuts - 1 tbsp
- Parmesan - 1 tablespoon
- Salt

Step 1
First, prepare the tomatoes. Wash thoroughly, pour boiling water for 30 seconds, pour over with cold water, remove the skin. In a blender, grind the tomato pulp along with the onion and a clove of garlic. Pour the puree into a small saucepan.
Step 2
We sort out the currants, wash in cold water. Grind the pure berries in a blender, then pass the resulting mixture through a sieve and add to the tomato puree. Add salt and sugar, mix and refrigerate.
Step 3
Now we are preparing the sauce. Grind basil, garlic, salt, olive oil, nuts and parmesan in a blender.
Step 4
Pour the chilled soup into plates, add a spoonful of sauce and a leaf of basil.
