If you love tangerines and delicious desserts, then this cake is for you. Delicate cakes stuffed with curd cheese and tangerines - it's impossible to resist. Preparing such a delicacy is very simple, try it.
It is necessary
- Dough:
- - 230 grams of flour,
- - 200 grams of sugar,
- - 125 ml of milk,
- - 8 eggs,
- - 2 tsp baking powder,
- - 2 teaspoons of grated tangerine zest,
- - 1 tsp vanillin.
- Filling:
- - 6 tangerines.
- Cream:
- - 1 tbsp. a spoonful of grated tangerine zest,
- - half a teaspoon of vanilla,
- - 800 grams of curd cheese,
- - 230 grams of powdered sugar.
- Decoration:
- - 3 tangerines,
- - 70 grams of coconut flakes.
Instructions
Step 1
For the test.
Divide the eggs into 8 yolks and 8 whites. Beat the egg whites until fluffy. Gradually add 50 grams of sugar to the proteins (you can use cane sugar to taste). Leave the whites in a cool place.
Step 2
Whisk the yolks and 150 grams of sugar. While whisking, add 125 ml milk, 2 teaspoons of grated tangerine zest and a teaspoon of vanillin to the yolks.
Step 3
Mix flour with baking powder, sift. Add flour to the whipped yolk and milk mixture, knead the dough. Add the whipped cream at the end of the dough.
Step 4
Pour the dough into two identical tins (about 22 cm in diameter). Bake the cakes in the oven at 180 degrees for 35 minutes.
Step 5
Cool the finished cakes. Cut the cakes into two equal pieces. Saturate the cakes with orange liqueur if desired.
Step 6
For the cream.
Combine curd cheese (it is better to use Philadelphia) with 230 grams of powdered sugar, orange liqueur (amount to taste, you can without it), a tablespoon of grated tangerine zest and vanilla (half a teaspoon). Whisk until smooth.
Step 7
For filling.
Divide the peeled tangerines into slices, which are cleaned from the films.
Step 8
Put the cake on a dish, coat with cream. Place the tangerines on top of the cream. Cover the tangerines with the following crust, which is also spread with cream. For cream - tangerines. Repeat layers. Sprinkle the top of the cake, as well as the sides with coconut, garnish with tangerines.
