Stir-fry is a technique for quickly frying food in hot oil with constant stirring. It is best to use a wok, a special skillet with sloping sides. In it you can fry pieces of meat, seafood, noodles and vegetables. A very simple recipe using the stir-fry technique - shrimp with garlic and ginger.
It is necessary
- - 2 tablespoons of oyster sauce;
- - 1 spoon of soy sauce;
- - a handful of fresh chopped coriander;
- - 2 teaspoons of cornstarch;
- - 250 g of large shrimps;
- - olive oil;
- - 5 stalks of young green onions;
- - 2 cloves of garlic;
- - 2 teaspoons of chopped ginger root.
Instructions
Step 1
The shrimp must be peeled, the tail can be left. After that, be sure to dry the shrimp with a paper towel.
Step 2
In a bowl, mix oyster sauce, chopped coriander greens and soy sauce, set aside.
Step 3
Heat a little oil in a wok (or ordinary frying pan) - it should completely cover the bottom. As soon as the wok is warmed up, put the shrimps in one row, fry them for a minute. Then turn over and fry for another minute. Transfer the shrimp to a plate.
Step 4
Reduce heat to medium, add a little more oil and put chopped green onions, squeezed garlic and ginger into the pan. We fry, stirring constantly, for one minute.
Step 5
Pour the mixture of sauces with coriander into the pan, put the shrimps, fry for a minute, without stopping stirring the ingredients. Serve immediately.
