Tabouleh is an Arabic salad based on bulgur. This dish can be eaten even during the fast. Bulgur contains many useful properties: sodium, iron, phosphorus, potassium, zinc, copper, calcium.
It is necessary
- - 1 tbsp. l. honey
- - mint
- - a pinch of vanilla
- - 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
- - 100 g bulgur
- - 200 g orange juice
- - 1 apple
- - 50 g dried apricots
- - 50 g raisins
- - 50 g seeds
Instructions
Step 1
Pour freshly squeezed orange juice into a saucepan, add a pinch of dry mint, cinnamon, vanilla and honey.
Step 2
Pour bulgur into a plate. Peel the apples and cut into medium cubes. Add chopped apples, raisins and dried apricots to orange juice.
Step 3
Bring the juice with fruits to a boil and add bulgur to them and mix everything well.
Step 4
Cover the pan with cling film and leave for 1-1.30 hours so that the Bulgars are saturated with juice and swell. Stir the mixture constantly, 3-5 times in an hour.
Step 5
Fry the peeled seeds in a skillet until golden brown. Add seeds to salad. Garnish with fresh mint and serve.
