It is necessary

  • - homemade milk;
  • - leaven;
  • - sugar;
  • - berries.

Instructions

Step 1

Boil 1 liter of homemade milk first. Be sure to use homemade milk, because it is very fatty and does not contain all sorts of additives. After that, cool it down to about 42-45 degrees.

Step 2

While the milk is cooling, pour boiling water over all the dishes that will participate in the preparation of yogurt, including spoons and a thermos.

Step 3

If you want the yogurt to be sweeter, then you need to prepare sugar syrup, that is, completely dissolve the required amount of sugar in water. But it is better if you use powdered sugar so that the sugar in the yogurt does not crunch on your teeth.

Step 4

As soon as the milk has cooled, remove the foil from it. Add the prepared sugar syrup to it, and then gently mix the milk and sourdough. For this, you can use a commercial dry starter culture, which is sold in pharmacies or health food stores.

Step 5

Pour the mass of milk and sourdough into a thermos and close it tightly with a lid.

Step 6

After about 8 hours, pour the yoghurt from a thermos into a bowl, which was previously doused with boiling water, and put the yoghurt in the refrigerator for 7 hours.

Step 7

Homemade yogurt is ready. Now arrange it in portions, on top of the yogurt can be garnished with berries, chocolate or fruit.
