Don't like oatmeal? Surely you just haven't tried it properly! I suggest you bake it with pears and nuts in a milk-cream mixture - I am sure that after this dish you will radically change your opinion about this porridge!
It is necessary
- For 2 servings:
- - 75 g of oatmeal;
- - 25 g of peeled almonds;
- - 25 g of peeled hazelnuts;
- - 40 g of raisins;
- - vanillin on the tip of a knife;
- - 0.5 tsp cinnamon;
- - 0.25 tsp ground nutmeg;
- - 1 small pear;
- - 250 ml of milk;
- - 100 ml heavy cream;
- - 1 tbsp. demerara sugar.
Instructions
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees and prepare a heat-resistant baking dish.
Step 2
Wash the pear, peel and cut into small cubes. Peel or leave - it only depends on your desire!
Step 3
Mix oatmeal (preferably longer cooking) with vanilla, add half a teaspoon of cinnamon, a quarter teaspoon of nutmeg, washed raisins and whole nuts. Mix all dry ingredients thoroughly.
Step 4
Add milk and cream to dry ingredients. Take cream fatter, ideally double cream - their fat content is more than 40%. Mix everything well and place in the oven for about 25 minutes: the milk-cream mixture should be absorbed into the oatmeal.
Step 5
Sprinkle casserole with 1 tablespoon. brown demerara sugar and place on top of the oven for about 4-5 minutes, until caramelized. The grill setting is ideal for this!
Step 6
The cooked casserole can be served with fresh berries!
