Difficulty: 1 out of 5.

Cooking time: 40 minutes.

Ingredients:

  • 500 g cottage cheese
  • 2 chicken eggs
  • 4 tablespoons sugar
  • 6 tablespoons flour + flour to roll
  • vegetable oil for frying

1. Stir eggs and sugar until sugar dissolves.

2. Pour the mixture into a bowl with cottage cheese and mix everything thoroughly.

3. Add flour to the curd mixture and mix everything thoroughly again.

4. Form small balls from the resulting mixture (take a heaped tablespoon), roll them in flour and flatten a little.

5. Preheat a frying pan with vegetable oil (medium heat) and spread the cheese cakes on it.

6. Fry over medium heat (uncovered) until golden brown.

7. Turn over, cover the pan with a lid and reduce heat. We fry for 10 minutes, after which the lid can be removed.

8. Check the degree of browning from the bottom, and, if necessary, fry without a lid until golden brown.

Put the finished cheesecakes on a paper napkin to remove excess oil.

We send the next portion of cheesecakes to the pan for frying. Top up with vegetable oil if necessary.

Innings:

Cheesecakes can be served beautifully by sprinkling with powdered sugar, garnishing with a sprig of mint and fresh berries.

I like to serve sour cream, honey, condensed milk or jam with cheesecakes, depending on the mood and the season.

Cheesecakes are an excellent dessert for hot tea or coffee, and in the heat, cheesecakes are good with chilled milk.
