Egg liqueur is an emulsion consisting of egg yolks, a strong alcoholic beverage (usually cognac or brandy) and sugar. It has a rather specific taste and is often very thick, which is why not everyone likes to drink it in its pure form. Basically, liqueur is used as a base for cocktails or added to dough when baking.
Instructions
Step 1
Traditionally, an alcoholic cocktail "Algerian Coffee" is prepared with egg liqueur. To prepare one cup, pour freshly ground coffee to taste in a coffee maker or a Turk, fill with cold water. Bring coffee to a boil, carefully remove from heat and let cool. Then boil it again. Let the coffee brew for two minutes, then add 1 teaspoon of cold water and simmer for 1 minute. Take a thick-walled glass glass (for example, for whiskey), pour 20 g of cream, the same amount of egg liqueur. Then pour coffee in a thin stream along the side of the glass. The drink is ready.
Step 2
The cocktail "Snowball" (the second name is "Snowball") perfectly refreshes in hot weather. To prepare it, take a long drink glass (a tall narrow vessel with a volume of 540 milliliters), pour 40 milliliters of egg liqueur into it. Then, carefully, taking care not to damage the thick liqueur layer, fill it with lemon-flavored lemonade. Decorate the glass with a lemon wedge and a cocktail umbrella.
Step 3
The most common egg liqueur today is Advocate. It has a thick consistency and a pronounced vanilla flavor. It was from the name of this liquor that the cocktail "Lawyer in Pink Shoes" was born. To make a cocktail in equal proportions, mix egg liqueur and grenadine syrup (usually 10 milliliters are taken for one cocktail). Add the same amount of heavy cream to them, mix thoroughly. Pour into a tall glass, top with lemonade.
Step 4
Fans of strong alcoholic cocktails can try Casablanca. To do this, take 30 milliliters of vodka, one tablespoon each of anise liqueur, pineapple and orange juice, and 20 milliliters of egg liqueur. Load all ingredients into a shaker, shake well. Pour into a tall glass (like for a latte), lining the bottom with crushed ice.
Step 5
The girls will not be left indifferent by the Monaco cocktail. Take one portion each of egg liqueur, banana liqueur, coffee liqueur, and Cointreau liqueur, and 2 portions of cream. Mix in a shaker and pour into tall glasses.
Step 6
The Bleeding Heart cocktail will look spectacular at any occasion. Pour 75 milliliters of egg liqueur into a square low glass, and then, carefully, through a tube, fill the bottom of the glass with 25 milliliters of Curacao red liqueur.
