Step 1
The grape compote turns out to be very tasty and healthy. For 600 g of grapes, you will need 5 glasses of water, 1, 5 glasses of sugar and 2 g of citric acid. Pour sugar into a saucepan and cover with water. Bring the solution to a boil. Place thoroughly washed grapes in boiling syrup and cook for about 5 minutes. Remove the saucepan with the compote from the heat, close the lid and leave to cool. When the compote has cooled down, add a few drops of citric acid solution to it.

In addition, grape compote is canned for the winter. For winter preparations, it is better to take the varieties from which table wines are made. Gently free the berries from the brushes, rinse them thoroughly and lay them on the table so that they dry a little. Then put the berries tightly in jars or bottles and fill with syrup, which is prepared as follows: 0.35 kg of sugar is dissolved in 1 liter of water. The result is 1, 2 liters of ready-made filling. The last stage is sterilization for 30 minutes at a temperature of 85-90 ° C and seaming with metal lids.
Step 3
Second way: prepare syrup for 1 liter of water - 250 grams of sugar. Wash the grapes thoroughly and place them in jars. Pour the boiling syrup over the berries to the brim. After 6-7 minutes, drain the syrup and bring the compote to a boil again, then pour the grapes in the jars again. Close the jars with a metal lid sealer, turn them upside down and leave them like this until they cool completely.
